On registration: email address and name. Website usage: IP address (anonymized), browser type, access times. App usage: license status. Desktop generations can run locally on your device. If you use connected cloud or hybrid routes inside the app, ReelGen-managed cloud routes, or connected third-party providers, prompts, reference files, job metadata, and generated outputs may be transmitted to the infrastructure or provider selected for that request.

3. Purpose of Data Processing

Providing and improving the service, license management, customer support, website analytics (anonymized).

4. Legal Basis

Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

5. Data Sharing

Your data is never sold or shared for advertising. Sharing occurs only for contract performance, legal obligations, or when you explicitly trigger optional cloud or hybrid processing with ReelGen-managed or connected third-party services.

6. Storage Duration

Personal data is deleted once the purpose no longer applies. Account data upon deletion. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

7. Cookies

This website uses only technically necessary cookies for session management and authentication. No tracking or third-party cookies.

9. Local and Optional Cloud Processing

ReelGen is local-first. Many AI models and desktop workflows can run directly on your device. If you explicitly use connected cloud or hybrid routes inside the app, managed cloud routes, or connected providers, only the prompts, media, and metadata required for that request are transmitted to the selected service. Your creative work belongs to you; managed outputs may remain privately locked until review is completed.
